PQC & QUIC in OpenSSL Library
The threats posed by quantum computing to traditional cryptographic methods necessitate the evolution of cryptographic software. This talk examines the OpenSSL project’s approach to advancing in alignment with the new post-quantum cryptography standards, including FIPS 203, 204, and 205. It reviews the level of support provided for these standards in the latest OpenSSL software release and outlines plans for continued enhancements. Additionally, the talk explores OpenSSL’s QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections) support and QUIC-TLS for third-party stacks.
